Cups and Mugs
I have three ranges of mugs and cups. My first range are the bone china transfer mugs. Dish washer proof with the butterfly, bugs and fishes range. The butterflies constist of five butterflies on each mug with one moth. The fish mug consists of eight fresh water fish with one gold fish. The second range of mugs are all hand thrown white stone ware mugs made on a pottery wheel. Each one varies slightly in size, shape and pattern due to the way they have been made. Each mug is individually hand stamped using letters, numbers and punctuation from a set of old letter press letters which used to be my grandfathers. Dots are full stops, lines are dashes and stars are asterisks. The third range of mugs are press moulded, moulded from two found objects. A measuring cyclinder and an old china handle found in the River Stour near where my parents live in Suffolk.
