The pedagogical model which is used at Falmouth - Falmouth Online’s The Five Steps Pedagogic Framework.
Scaffolded students time makes students learning structured and reassuring.
Each week has the 5 steps:

1 week= 1 activity which has 5 steps.
Spark – positions the weeks activities 5%. Activating prior knowledge or experience or show inspirational content to spark an interest. This should be no more than 5% total within the week.
Knowledge Acquisition – 20%. Using factual or procedural knowledge related to the weekly topic. Self-directed discussion or questions are to be encouraged. To deepen knowledge.
The Task. 50% Students produce something tangible. Expand or apply knowledge to produce. Could become part of formative assessment. The most time is spent o this part.
Reflection – 15% How has their understanding changed? knowledge of their own.
Consolidation – Students come back together 10% to share hat they have earnt.
